Iceland Day One

Iceland day one, finally after going through hundreds of photos, I have managed to narrow it down them down as best as I can to some of my favourite pictures from the first day of our trip! There is more photos than I would normally add to a blog post, but it is necessary in this case.

The first day consisted of travelling and a super lovely evening at the Blue Lagoon once arriving in Iceland.

The Blue Lagoon was honestly one of the most amazing places I have ever been, it was so relaxing & so so beautiful I can't even put it into words. No picture I or anyone else will take will do it justice, you just need to see & experience it for yourself!
It is the perfect place to go with a partner, for some really lovely one on one relaxing time in a super romantic setting. We floated around for hours, in the warm water, whilst the sky was full of snow, exploring every part of the lagoon, whilst sipping on red wine and wearing natural lagoon mud masks, which may I add made our skin feel INCREDIBLE!!

After spending about 2 hours in the lagoon and the surrounding saunas, steam rooms and in water caves, we went and had a lovely meal in the on site 'Lava' restaurant, were we had the most beautiful view and a lovely dinner, before getting on a coach back to our apartment.

See for yourself just how perfect this day was...

The BEST bread ever!!!

Celeriac and Cous cous for dinner!

There is a little insight into our first day in Iceland. These pictures definitely do not do it justice, but you can get an idea of just how beautiful this place is.

None of these photos have been edited (apart from the one of us on the plane) so I really am showing you its true beauty. The quality may not be amazing, because trying to take a picture in -9C & snow whilst soaking wet, is VERY difficult!

I 110% recommend visiting Iceland and the Blue Lagoon!

A big thank you to the people at Triangl for the bikini I was so in love with it & couldn't have been happier to get to wear it in Iceland!
Check out my bikini & other styles here.

Hope you have enjoyed looking at the pictures. Day two will follow shortly!

Sacha Goes To Iceland

Yes, thats right Iceland! As a christmas present for my boyfriend I decided to book us a little holiday to Iceland just for a long weekend.
Iceland is somewhere that I have wanted to visit for a long time & I know Aaron had it on his bucket list so it was the perfect place to go, especially as it is so close to Christmas, there is nothing better to get you in the spirit than snow and endless layers of your ugliest clothing in a desperate attempt to keep warm!

I only told Aaron where we were going this morning, at 6am (the day we were leaving). I made him open an envelope with a laminated card inside with 'You're going to Iceland!!' on it with our flight times and some little scenic pictures. He knew we were going away, he just didnt know where.
I'm so proud of myself for not caving in and telling him, because believe me I came close SO many times!!

Anyway, I thought I would write this post as a little update and to show you what I took in my hand luggage, along with a few snaps of what I wore to the airport and a couple of photos of me and Aaron looking rather sleepy on the plane...oh & a bathroom selfie of course!!

Most of the stuff I don't have links for! But they are basic pieces, so very similar pieces can be found in most highstreet stores!

When I get back home, I will do a post for each day I spend here in Iceland, so you can see what we got up to!

Alexander Wang x H&M: Part Two

So the part two of my Alexander Wang x H&M posts is the cropped neoprene jumper, which I am SO happy with.
Now I did pay a little more than I wanted to for this, as it had sold out on the website, so I snapped it up on eBay, but it is still totally worth it. The quality of this piece is impeccable, there is literally not one bad thing to say about it in my opinion, so for it to be retailed at £34.99 was such an amazing price!

Again, this isn't a winter appropriate look so I will have to wait until summer for this one, but I just thought this worked quite well. Its quite a cool and very easy to wear outfit, and being as lazy as I am, easy is always a winner for me.

I think I might style this jumper again because there is so many ways to wear it. I reckon it would even look good with the outfit from my part one Alexander Wang x H&M post, which you can find here.

Thoughts on this one?

Alexander Wang x H&M: Part One

WARNING: A very 'booby'post!!!

So much boob!
I really do apologise. The top is just a little too tight on the boobage area which means it pushes them up to my bloody chin, but hopefully when I join the gym after Christmas, my boobs will shrink & I wont have this problem!

Anyway, onto the GOOD stuff. This is the first of a two part Alexander Wang x H&M post!

I finally styled up my Alexander Wang x H&M Bustier after pondering on what the perfect casual outfit for it would be...aaanndddd I think I found it!! Im so in love with this outfit, I just felt so cool and comfortable in it. It may not be one for winter, but I can definitely hold out until summer for this one!

Im so happy with the bustier it's self, the quality is incredible and the fit is great, minus the squishy boobs! I mean some people might like that it give's you a super cleavage, but even posting these pictures on here is giving me a mild anxiety attack, I just feel SO uncomfortable getting my goodies out.
I love that 'WANG' is imprinted into all the separate sections of the bustier, but are still very subtle and not too in your face.

Im a sucker for an all black outfit, but who can blame me? I added the VANS as they added a little bit of brightness and pattern to the outfit. A pair of Adidas Originals or some crisp white Lacoste would also look PERFECT with this outfit, but I own neither!

What do you think to this look?

I'd love to know how you styled yours, if you managed to get you hands on one? OR even if you didn't, how would you have styled it?

Nude Tones

Finally I got my hands on a long Camel Coat after the longest search of my entire life. THANK YOU MISSGUIDED FOR HAVING THEM IN STOCK!!

I put this outfit together yesterday, as I have been so fed up of wearing jeans and trousers everyday just because the weather has gotten colder, so I decided that I wanted to style up a wintery outfit that didn't include trousers!

I chose this faux leather skirt because for some reason I feel that leather is a wintery material, its thick, durable and waterproof and it looks great with most other materials.
You may be thinking, why the hell do you have bare legs in winter? Well the answer would be that I am terrible at being female & I don't seem to own a single pair of tights...If I did have tights I would have added them to this outfit!

I recently picked up this ribbed turtle neck sweater which literally worked so perfectly with the skirt.
Can we just take a moment to appreciate turtle necks!?

...

Great, now we all understand how amazing they are right?
I just cannot help but buy every single one I see, they are so comfy and so warm and they seem to look great with pretty much everything.

To finish off the outfit, I threw on my Camel coat and a big chunky scarf to keep myself super warm. I loved how the colour of the turtle necked worked with the coat and the skirt. I tend to keep my colours to a minimum and go for a simple colour palette.

I wore my snake print VANS to keep it quite casual, but also because the snake print matched the colour or the turtle neck pretty well and added a little bit of pattern to the outfit, whilst still keeping it pretty simple.

Let me know what you think of this look in the comments!

Christmas Wishlist

As I am a HUGE Christmas fan, I thought I would share my Christmas list with you guys & maybe give you a little bit of inspo, because I know the struggle is real when you're asked the dreaded question:

Person: "What would you like for christmas this year?"
In my head: *Errrrrr there is so MUCH!!*
Me: "I dont know..."

Why is it such a challenge to answer that question when I spend everyday drooling over things wishing I had they money to buy them!?

I haven't asked for lots for Christmas as I was really uncertain of what I wanted, so I thought I would just ask for things that I would get a lot of use out of, some good staple pieces & a couple of skincare products!

The reason I LOVE Christmas so much has NOTHING to do with receiving presents, I love spending time with my family and eating tonnes of amazing food & I just love the funny feeling I get in my tummy around this time, it always makes me feel younger than I am. However, when I insist I want nothing more than to be with family and friends, Im faced with a bewildered face and forced to list a number of things I cant afford to buy myself, so that they can buy them and for any element of surprise to go out the window.
However, the feeling of opening gifts on Christmas morning (even if you do know exactly what you are getting) is so wonderful, Im always so overwhelmed with gratefulness & filled with love, that the gift its self doesn't matter so much, but the generosity of my family and friends takes over & makes me smile more than anything!

So if you are struggling with what to ask for, for Christmas, I hope that I have been able to help out, even if it is just a small amount!

Naanaa Clothing

I was recently sent this super cute playsuit from the lovely people at NaaNaa Clothing to style up & although it isn't a winter piece I was excited to do so!

Im not usually one for wearing playsuits as I find they never really suit me, however this one was really quite flattering.
With it being a floral print, I was a little sceptical as at first thought it was a bit 'girly' for me. However I made it work  with my style and actually ended up loving the outfit I put together.

I paired it with a leather jacket to make it a little bit more edgy and added the Converse and VANS socks for that more boyish vibe, which I think worked quite well.

What do you think? Would you have styled it differently?
