OOTN & LFW

Im back!! I have had a nightmare this last week. My internet has been broken for so long which is why I haven't posted anything for a while, I apologise. Anyway, I will give you a little update of what I have been up too.

So as most of you know, it was London Fashion Week two weekends ago, I was lucky enough to go to one of the catwalks at Fashion Scout on the Sunday. I watched the Portugal Fashion runway featuring Daniela Barros and Joao Melo Costa.

Daniela Barros was first on the run way. Her collection consisted of a lot of oversized coats and geometric prints, which I really liked as it was super simple but the strong cuts and shapes really made each item a statement piece.

All the photos I took came out really badly, so here a few I found online.

Joao Melo Costa followed right after again, sporting some oversized pieces. Where his material and colour choices were kept quite simple, Joao used more complex designs. Creating round shoulders and sparkles Joao definitely had the audience watching in awe.
Again my photos turned out real bad, so here is a few I found online.

Unfortunately I don't have any pictures from what I wore to LFW, so you'll have to forgive me for that!

Now, this Outfit of the Night, is totally unrelated to LFW, but seeing as I had both these posts lined up and my internet was down, I didn't want to do two separate posts in one night, I'm not too sure why but in my head it seems wrong (I'm pretty weird).

So last weekend it was my best friends birthday back home. I was pretty ill and told her that I wasn't going to be able to make it back for her birthday shindig she had going on at her house. Later in the evening I felt super bad, so being spontaneous old me, I hoped on a train and went home to surprise her, safe to say she was surprise...I made her cry!

This outfit was super rushed as I had about 15 minutes to get ready by the time I made it back to my house, but i liked what I was wearing so I thought you guys might want to see it!

(Be warned the photos are pretty crap...Birthday whilst....must get camera!)

I literally took these photos in a few seconds in my little brother mirror so I am sorry for the really horrible quality & detail!

Valentines Day

I hope you all had a wonderful Valentines Day & got treated like princess', I know I did!!

Im not doing a Valentines outfit, simply because I dressed super lazy on Valentines Day & you guys totally don't want to see that! So, I decided that I would show you what I go instead and tell you about my day!

Aaron kept his plans a secret up until Valentines morning, we woke up and he told me what he had planned for us to do for the day. It started off with breakfast at our favourite vegan cafe, where I took full advantage and went for a full english breakfast with a coffee and a fresh orange juice.
After breakfast we went into Oxford Street and he took me to buy a couple of things from & Other Stories that I had been eyeing up for a while. Once we had finished in Oxford Street, it was time to go to London Zoo, my favourite place EVER!! By this time it was already raining a little, however we decided we would still go as we thought the weather would lighten eventually. So, we got to Regents Park and  started walking to the Zoo, we had gotten about half way there, by which time it had started raining so much more. We made the decision to give the zoo a miss as we were soaked and none of the animals would be out of their enclosures. We headed back home to continue our day in bed, we watched a load of films and ate a tonne of treats, followed by an evening of take away and wine.
This was my first Valentines being in a relationship and I can honestly say I had the best day <3

Now, I know you're all eager to see what I got bought from & Other stories, so here is a little peak...

I'm so happy with both items and cannot wait to style them, so expect something very soon!

What I Wore Today

Considering I woke up at 7am & got ready in the dark, I think I did a half decent job, even though it is a super lazy work outfit today! This outfit post features a few new items I haven't shared with you guys yet, and all of them were absolute bargains, which is great considering I am totally broke, especially since my purse got stolen on sunday and I am left with no debit card!!
So without further a-do, here is my super lazy/comfortable outfit of the day...

The two items I am most excited about are my trainers and my jumper.
I went into central London yesterday and bagged myself these bargains. I have been after the Nike Roshe for sometime, but I had my heart set on the ones in the black and white colour way. I went into JD as someone told me they were selling them in there cheap, so I went in and couldn't find the black and white ones anywhere. However I spotted these grey ones & with some gentle persuasion from my boyfriend I decided that I did actually really like them & for £40...yes thats right £40, I couldn't turn them down. So yeah if you are looking for some Nikes go check out the kids section in JD Sports, they are all way cheaper than the adults shoes, oh the perks of little feet! ^.^

Feeling as though I was having a lucky day I decided to have a little look in Zara, fully aware of the sale, I headed straight to the sale area to see if there was anything that caught my eye & much to my surprise I found this jumper for only £9.99! I got it in a large because I prefer my jumper oversized as opposed to being really fitted. Im super happy because I have been after a high neck jumper for so long but could never really find one that I really liked, but low and behold, Zara have done it again. Oh oh oh...and I have the choice to wear it as a turtle neck or just a high neck, oh the simplest things.

This may just be the most long winded Outfit post ever, I do apologise.

LOVE Bloggers Event

This is a pretty exciting post for me, so I'm going to jump straight into it.

On Saturday I was lucky enough to go to my very first bloggers event for the brand LOVE, you can find their online store here!

I went along to the event with my friends Carmen & Natalie. Carmen is also a blogger, you can find her blog here!
We arrived to a shop full of bloggers and the LOVE brand team, tables full of Krispy Kreme's and Drinks & rails full of clothes. They had a few rails of clothes that we were able to buy there and then for only £10 and then a rail of clothes that were full priced.
I was super impressed with that they had on show, although I have to say, much to my dismay I definitely favoured the full price rail, which is typical considering I didn't have the money to buy anything. So most of my time at the event was spent hovering around the full price rail planning which items I would purchase as soon as I could afford it. One of my favourite pieces was this lovely black and white gingham sleeveless jacket, I couldn't keep my eyes off of it and for £36 I thought it was a total bargain.

It was nice to see that they were getting prepared for summer with their range of pastel coloured items and thin breezy materials. Not only did they think about day and evening summer wear, it looks as though they were making sure those working in stuffy offices could turn to them for some loose fitting, formal wear as well, using blacks, whites and creams.

\

Im really excited that I was able to go along to this event and meet the LOVE team & take a look at items that are not even featured on their website yet. Before we left we got given a £50 voucher to use on their online store, I can't wait to make my order, I'm just so stuck on what to buy. But rest assured, I will definitely blog about my purchase!

I took advantage of the event to do an Outfit Of The Day as I have had way too many lazy days recently and have rarely been seen in anything other than a oversized tee! So here is what I wore to the LOVE event...

Leather Jacket - H&M
Fur Vest - Topshop
Jumper - An old one of my mums
Navy Tartan Slip Dress - Zara
Bag - Urban Outfitters (not yet online)

I had such a good day & I am looking forward to my next bloggers event!!
I would also like to thank Carmen for telling me about the event and letting me come along with her and also credit her for the outfit photos!!

xo.

What I wore Today

Today I went to Covent Garden with my boyfriend to meet my mum & her friend for a pot of tea as they were in London for the day. I always get so excited when I get to see my mum, it feels so strange not being able to see her everyday.
When my mum & her friend had left me and Aaron had a little look in a few shops and then went for lunch at Wagamama, my favourite ever.
But, yeah this is what I wore today...

Faux Fur Vest - Topshop
Jumper - OBEY at Urban Outfitters
