Love Dress

If you can remember a few months back I went to the LOVE bloggers event (I did a post about it). At the event they were kind enough to give me a £50 voucher to buy anything I wanted off their website. It took me soo long to actually decide what I wanted because I was stuck between a couple of things. However after a long hard debate with myself I finally clicked 'add to basket' on a dress, entered my voucher code and clicked 'buy now' and I couldn't be happier with my decision.

I received the dress after a really long stressful day at work, so it most definitely picked up my mood! It came in a box with the Love logo on the front and inside the dress was wrapped in pink tissue paper, which to me was a lovely touch considering most online ordered items just come in cellophane wrapping, not that I'm a packaging snob or anything...

The dress I chose was the Deep V Neck Dress with Fringed Sleeves, and it honestly is such a great LBD, it is super simple but the fringed sleeves give it a bit of a more edgy look, which I really like.
Now, I'm very much a prude when it comes to flashing a bit of boob, but with this dress I literally don't have a choice, I'm not letting that put me off though because to me it doesn't come across in a 'everyone look at my (tiny) boobs' kind of way, however with me being short, the V neck does come down a little bit lower than expected on me, but I can work with that!

Im really happy with the dress & totally wish I could afford to go to a festival this year, because I think this dress would be perfect for a festival paired up with some ankle boots or even a pair of wellies!!

If you are interested in buying this dress then you can find it here! If not, then check out the website and see if anything takes your fancy.

Thank you LOVE for the amazing dress!

Spring Vs Prints

There are a tonne of things that are on trend this spring such a pastel colours, but the one that I'm getting most excited about is prints!
Now, I'm one to be scared easily, especially when it comes to bold, in your face prints. But this epidemic of prints is taking over & I'm all for it! I tend to be quite plain in what I wear, however I can feel myself wanting to be more adventurous and push the plain aside and let the prints in...until i get scared again that is.

Not only are high-street brands stepping up and plastering their pieces with bold & bright prints, the catwalk is also giving a warm welcome to this spring phenomenon.

Prints work so well as statement pieces when tied in with an otherwise plain outfit, not only this but when done correctly pairing prints with prints can also look great. One thing I am really into and have been since last summer is printed co-ords (two pieces), I just think they are unbelievably flattering.

Here are a few of my favourite from both high-street and designer brands...

High-street

Blue & Green blouse - Topshop
Floral top - Topshop
Trousers - ASOS
Two piece - Motel
Checkered top - Monki

Designer
Dolce & Gabbana                                    Celine                                        Just Cavalli

(The designer photos are all from Paris Fashion Week 2014).

These are just a few of my favourite printed items, if I was to show you them all, this would be the longest blog post ever.
When I get some money and a chance to go shopping, I will be stocking up my wardrobe with tonnes of beautiful bright printed pieces, so keep you eyes peeled for haul videos & outfit posts!

Black & Plaid

This is what I wore yesterday, I love outfits like this! Super boyish but so easy, especially when you have to wake up at 6:30am for work. Im really loving plaid shirts at the moment, they go with so many outfits & they are perfect for spring when it is warm but still not warm enough to not wear  anything over your arms. I wore my black & white boyfriend coat from Topshop over this outfit just so I didn't freeze.
I'd love to see how you are styling your plaid pieces, if you have, comment the link to your blog & I will check it out!

Oh & you are probably wandering why I'm in a fitting room? I was trying on a bunch of stuff I can't even afford to buy, I was in H&M for god sake, I am literally that poor right now.

Jersey Cami - Topshop
Coated Jeans - Topshop
Plaid Shirt - Zara
Boots - Vagabond

Recent Haul

I HAVE MADE MY VERY FIRST YOUTUBE VIDEO!!!!
So in the last 3 weeks I have bought a few new items that I wanted to share with you guys. I didn't want to just upload photos of them on here for you to scroll through, so I thought I would make a video as it is way more fun.

I know that the quality isn't amazing, not to mention the editing, but you need to understand I am totally new to this! I did have a lot of fun filming and making it though & hopefully it will be there first of many. Im not going to commit to uploading regular videos just yet, but do keep an eye out for more!

All items are linked below the video on YouTube.

I hope you enjoy it!

Outfit Of The Day

This weekend I went back home to visit my family, it is unreal how much I miss them!
I took loads of stuff with me in the hope of filming some clips for my very first haul video, seeing as I seem to have accumulated so much new stuff in the past week or so, however I didn't get round to filming anything as I had so many people to see, I just didn't get anytime. But I do still plan on making a little video of previews of my new stuff, so keep your eyes out for that!

I came back to London today after having lunch & a few drinks with my parents. How lovely was the weather today? It was so warm I was actually walking around in just a t-shirt, I really hope the weather stays like this from now on! Just before I left I got my mum to take a couple of pictures of what I was wearing today. It is a big change from the amount of black that I usually wear! So yeah this is what I wore today...
