Summer Daze

I know I keep going on about it being summer & that I'm so excited about the nice weather, but I feel that it has got to my head just a little bit too much! After living in the UK for my whole life, you would think by now I would know just how unreliable english weather is. I went home a couple of weekends ago & took this outfit with me expecting the weather to be lovely and hot, only to wake up to grey skies & rain. None the less I took pictures of the outfit anyway, as I thought it was a cute simple summer outfit.

The sunshine is back again so I'm making the most of it. 

I don't usually wear playsuits as I find that most don't really suit me, or they make my figure look really strange. However I couldn't resist this one as the print was just too perfect! It is made with a chiffon material which is perfect for summer. It is super light and breezy, so would be pretty perfect to wear to a festival, not that I'm going to any this year!

Monochrome Tomboy

I have been such a slack this past week with posting, I had a bad start to the week, which meant blogging wasn't my number one priority. BUT, things are all sorted and I'm back in the game!

So here is what I wore last weekend when I went back to visit my parents. I went a little bit 'tomboy' with the vest but I actually really like this outfit!

The photos aren't great, but you can see the outfit and thats the important part! It is a pretty chilled out, lazy outfit, but i'm a fan of simple outfits. 

I always worry that I don't show you guys much, but I live in London by myself, so spare money isn't always on the cards for me, so a lot of what I post will be things you have already seen, just incorporated into a different outfits, and when the time comes that I can afford to do a big shop, then thats just a bonus. I hope I don't bore you all!!

Summer Time

Finally, the sun has come back, I almost thought we had waved goodbye to our summer.

My lovely boyfriend treated me to the loveliest, most comfy shorts ever yesterday & I literally could not wait to get them on!

It may not come across very well in these photos (in fact it doesn't at all), but they are extremely flattering. 

I haven't really got a big selection of shorts, so maybe this will be the first of more to come.

Just a little outfit I threw together this afternoon after work. 

Something a bit more smart, compared to my usual 'get up', but I really like the more sophisticated look, especially for the summer. I don't know what it is about outfits like this, but they make me feel more glamorous and mature, which is never a bad thing.

I will definitely be wearing this outfit and others like it when the weather picks up again.

For some reason my camera has made me look about 5 years old. The photos aren't great, lighting & editing wise, but I haven't properly sorted out the contrast ect on my camera yet.
