Dinner Time

Last weekend I went back to my parents & we out I went out for a lovely family meal. Me being me, totally forgot all about it and didn't bring an outfit for the meal, so I had to make do with what I had with me.
This is what I ended up wearing. I quite like the outfit, but the jeans were definitely not weather appropriate as it was so hot, even in the evening!

What I am wearing:

Top: Zara Sale
Jeans: Topshop
Shoes: My1stwish

(The link for the shoes isn't the exact pair, as they don't stock the colour I am wearing in this post)

Flannel Shirt

I love love love wearing my red flannel shirt, but as the weather has been so hot in the last week or so, putting on my flannel shirt would probably be a death wish!! However, I went home at the weekend and it was quite cloudy but still mildly warm (warm enough to wear shorts anyway) so I decided to throw it on and pair it with my new denim shorts. Speaking of which, I am totally over the moon with, I have been looking for a decent pair of black denim shorts for ages.
I got these ones in H&M for just £20, so they were  bit of a bargain! What i like best is the cut of the shorts at the bottom, they come down a little longer at the back, thus keeping my bum cheeks from showing, which is a MASSIVE pet peeve of mine!
They are slightly distressed to which I really like.

Misspap

Im an absolute sucker for stalking instagram on a daily basis searching for new places to shop. Yesterday I came across 'Misspap' a website that I hadn't heard of before, so I decided to have a little browse through their website.
They stock some really lovely pieces, all on trend and at very reasonable prices, which is perfect for someone like myself that can't splash out on expensive designer clothing!
I must have spent a good 30/45 minutes scrolling through the website, making a list of things to buy in my head. There were so many things that caught my eye, but there was one item in particular that I kept going back to…

This Kimono!!!!!
I have been looking for a kimono to wear over a bikini for so long in preparation for my holiday next month, and I instantly fell in love upon discovery of this one.
I think it is perfect for throwing on before walking down to the beach & even if you were to pop into a little beachside restaurant for a bite to eat without feeling to over exposed. Items like this would for me, be a staple piece on holiday as not only could you wear it over a bikini but you could also dress it up in the evening too!

Here is an idea of how I would style this piece…

For the beach

(All items except bikini are from Misspap)

For the evening

(Kimono & Gladiator sandals are both from Misspap)

There are so many different ways to style this kimono as it is such a versatile piece, but these are just two looks that I would wear.

I would definitely recommend Misspap as it is very affordable and very on trend! If you are looking to go on holiday, they may just be able to fill up your suitcase & if you're not, then you can fill up your wardrobe instead!

Windswept

Okay so on the day I decide to wear a flowy top, we get high winds that insist on stripping me of my modesty. None the less I powered through, making my mum take pictures every time we had a break from the wind, the pictures aren't great and I look somewhat (VERY) windswept, but its the best I could do!!

What I'm wearing:
