The Pinstripe Two Piece

So, it has been a little while since I posted an outfit up on here, so I do apologise, Ive been pretty busy recently & not to mention, rather low on funds! However, payday finally arrived so I ordered this pinstriped two piece that I have been eyeing up, from Missguided!
You do have to purchase the top and the bottoms separately, but for a mere total of £45, it's not a huge blow to your bank account!

I was a little anxious about wearing this set as I thought it would make my body shape look really odd, but to my surprise it sat where I wanted it too and didn't give me too much of a boyish figure.
The material is pretty stretchy, thus making it uber comfortable!

I bought the trousers in a size 6, but they did come up a little big on me, but no too noticeably, i'd definitely still wear them at this size. So I would suggest maybe sizing down, depending on how you would like them to fit.
I got the top in a size 8 because I didn't realise the material was going to be stretch and didn't think my boobs would fit into a size 6 as they usually don't when bralets are in that still non elasticated material, so i'd say the tops would be pretty true to size!

I was really excited by this outfit, as I have been totally crushing on the 'White Trainer' hype at the moment, and thought it worked really well with this two piece.
These trainers are from Topshop, and though you cant tell from the photos, they are like a white snakeskin, which I thought was a nice little detail. I have my wonderful boyfriend to thank for treating me to them!! <3

I added my long camel coat to finish this look as I have currently been really enjoying a black, white & camel colour palette. I just think any outfit based around these three colours always looks quite clean and well put together.

Im quite tempted to do a evening outfit using these two piece? Let me know if you'd like to see that in the comments!

I'd love to know what you think to this look? How would you have styled it?

Culottes

Im in love, i'm in love, IM IN LOVE!!

For so long I have been eyeing up so many pairs of wide legged trousers telling myself they would never suit me and that I should stop thinking they will. To tell you the truth, i've been a little scared of them.
However, when I saw this khaki pair on Missguided for £11, I thought screw it, for £11 i'm willing to risk it.
I then ordered this top from ASOS, as I thought it would go well with the trousers and I thought if it was a good outfit then I was bound to love the trousers, and I wasn't wrong!

Im so happy with how this outfit came together. I love that it is that sleek, smart look but with a little bit of an edge.
I added the heels because I wanted to create a look suitable for a evening of cocktails or a dinner date, and this is definitely an outfit I would wear for either of those occasions.

I'm really loving the khaki trend at the moment, but i've been struggling to fit it into my wardrobe, with me being a very basic colour kind of person and all, but these trousers are the perfect first khaki item to add to my wardrobe & I can wait to style them up some more!

What do you think to this outfit?

Casual Camel

So I recently picked up this top from COS in the sales, I think it was around £17 (don't hold me to that!!), which is pretty good, especially as it is a basic piece that will get a lot of wear.

I was in such a hurry to get it on, I decided to just take photos of this outfit without a lot of thought going into it. But to be honest I quite like it, the boots and the ripped jeans give the more classy top half a bit of an edgy vibe and i'm all for that!

I bought this top in a size up from what I should have but I quite like it a little bit oversized. Im also loving it against my camel coat, I think the two shades complement each other well.

What do you think?

I will style this up with something else soon, so you can see how versatile such a basic piece can be, but in the mean time I will leave you with this!

Faux Fur & All Black

Firstly, Im going to say HAPPY NEW YEAR, followed desperately by an apology for the lighting differences in these pictures. I had planned to photograph this outfit outside, however the rain stopped me in my tracks & the lighting situation indoors was less than satisfactory.
Back to the 'HAPPY NEW YEAR', I hope you all entered the new year safely & full of positivity!

This is my first outfit post of 2015, what do you think?

It's a little bit different to my usual outfits I think, a little more chic, definitely a look I would like to play around with more in 2015.
I'm really into sleek hair/up do's at the moment & I feel that this outfit is the perfect combination for a sleek hair do.
I wanted to put together an outfit that would be a perfect day to night transition, and I think this outfit works quite well for that, weather it be a day at the office then on to after work drinks, or from a day of shopping and running errands to an evening date or dinner.
I kept the outfit super simple and clean, but by adding the faux fur scarf, gave it a point of interest.

I'm really head over-heels with this silk shirt my boyfriend got me for christmas & these uh-ma-zing shoes from Zara so i'm super excited that I could work them both into these outfit.
