Wishlist

I've had a nice day today, went to Knightsbridge to meet my friend I haven't seen in ages & went for tea in Harrods. I forgot how posh that end of London is & how many high end stores there are there. Got me thinking about all the expensive items i've been drooling over the last few weeks...

Black Biker Jacket - The White Pepper|£120
Pink Cocoon Coat - ASOS|£110
Oversized Sweater - ACNE Studios|£270
Large Satchel - Alexander Wang|£915
Nike Free Run 5.0 - Nike|£85

Pretty much all of it is way out of my price range, but a girl can dream right?

Im massively into oversized boyish clothes at the moment, and as you can tell I love black. Im trying as hard as I can to break away from wearing black clothes (hence the pink coat) as much because I really do like colour, I think I'm just way to scared to find something I really love and then realise the colour really doesn't work on me. But as of now I'm making a pact with myself to wear more colour...she says wearing an entirely black outfit...one day!

Keihls Buys

This is a bit of a different post to what I normally do, but Im really excited about it, so I thought I would share it with you!

So,before christmas I went to Westfield's shopping centre with my mum to do some christmas shopping for my dad. She took me into a shop called Keihls, which at the time the only knowledge of it I had was from the Step Bothers film.

Basically it is a shop filled with natural goodies for your skin. Whenever I find a new shop that sells skin products I get all obsessive over it & have to test it out, but with it being christmas I couldn't really afford to buy myself anything!

Since visiting the shop I had started reading reviews on the products just to see if they were worth me spending money on. All of the reviews that I read looked really good and literally no one had a bad word to say about the brand, let alone its products. So following this I chose a couple of products that I wanted to try out based on the reviews that I had read.

So on Friday I took a trip to Westfield's as I had a bit of spare money & picked up a couple of things.

The items I chose where:

Cucumber Herbal Alcohol Free Toner - £16.50
&
Ultra Facial Cream - £20.40

I had read really good things about both products & I thought the prices were pretty reasonable too! Also with this purchase I got given a free Facial Cleanser and a Body Moisturiser too, which was pretty cool.

From what I read the toner is real good for clearing any breakouts and preventing them along with cleaning your pores, which suits me perfectly because if I ever gets spots I will get like 3 at a time and they are always huge, so I am really hoping this works for me because I really hate getting spots which I'm sure you all do!

The moisturiser is a really water based one which again is perfect for me because with the weather being so cold I get such horrible dry & red patches on my face, so my fingers are crossed in the hope that this will stop that.

I will do a post at some point with an update on how I am getting on with these products. In the meantime check it out, they literally have something for everyone!

Three Ways to Wear My Lazy Oaf Tee

Following on from my post about my Lazy Oaf tee, I have decided rather than just do an outfit post on it, I'm going to do a '3 ways to wear it" post. I thought it would be a good idea, that shows how to wear something so simple 3 different ways for 3 different occasions.

So here are my 3 different ways of wearing my Lazy Oaf tee...

Whilst styling this top I realised there are so many ways that I can wear it, these 3 however are just my favourites.

£60 Challenge

Recently I have seen so many things that I want to buy, but it always seems like it will cost so much! So on saturday I was wondering around central London and decided to see how many items I could get using just the money I had in my purse at the time.
Now, it is not like me to ever have money in my purse as I am a bit of a debit card obsessive, however on this day I had £60 in cash.

The first thing I picked up was the clear vinyl shopper which I have been prying on for a while. I got this from Topshop for £20.

Im a massive fan of socks, so I'm always looking out for more & I have been meaning to get some for a while, so I thought whilst I was in Topshop I would grab a couple of pairs.
The first pair I grabbed were the White 90's Block Grid Socks, which were in the sale for only £2! The second pair I bought were the Gold Slinky Ankle Socks which were still full price but still at a reasonable price of £3.50.

After spending too much time drooling over the endless amounts of socks in Topshop, I wondered over to Urban Outfitters as I have been meaning to buy myself a little lace triangle bra. I got myself the Honeydew lace bralette in black & was surprised at how flattering it was. With my staff discount I only paid £9.60 for it, however the RRP is very reasonable at £16.

The last thing I bought was the metallic silver clutch bag, something I have been lusting over for so long. By this time I was getting tired of dodging all the slow London pedestrians but decided before I got the tube home to have a look in a shop called & Other Stories. I'd been in there before but never properly looked around & I was pleasantly surprised by the clothing they stocked, they had some really lovely stuff in there & the prices were really good too! However the one thing that caught my eye most was the silver clutch bag, I paid £17 for it, which I think is super good, considering the size.
(This item is no longer on the website)

I actually had a lot of fun trying to shop on a budget & buying as many items as I could.
Out of the £60 I had to spend I only spent a total of £52.10 which left me with enough change for a coffee!!

Lazy Oaf Purchase

Today is a good day!!
Picked up my new Lazy Oaf Tee from the post office this morning after having the most delicious vegan breakfast.

I have been lusting over this oversized tee for so long & when I noticed it was in the sale for £20 I could have cried, not only because it was now £20, but the fact that I couldn't really spare £20 at the time. However, I have the most amazing boyfriend & he offered to buy it for me.

So, yeah I picked it up this morning after missing the post man the other day & I could not be happier! It fits so nicely and it is such good quality, I definitely bagged myself a bargain with this.
I have a good idea of how I'm going to wear this, so expect an outfit post featuring this pretty soon!

You can find the tee here.

Shoe Addiction

It is a well known fact that I have a very unhealthy obsession for shoes; particularly boots, and if you know me, you will know that I would sacrifice eating for a week in order to have a new pair of shoes.
I was at work yesterday (for those that don't know, I work at Urban Outfitters) and came across these boots that had come in, in the delivery on the previous day and pretty much decided I was buying them on the spot.
I have a massive thing for monochrome and I have been looking for some black boots with a white platform for so long and these were super affordable, even without my staff discount. They were originally £45, but with my 40% staff discount I got them for £27 and for that price I couldn't say no.

Keep your eyes out for an outfit post involving these shoes!

New Favourite App

I downloaded the Polyvore app the other day after seeing so many people using it and it is actually really good. Not only can I put outfits together but I can also see where all the products are from. One thing I really like about the app is that it isn't all designer, it is a mixture of high-street and designer items, so I can create affordable outfits rather than putting together a dream outfit that I know I will never be able to afford.

I have decided that as well as doing my own outfit posts, I'm also going to use Polyvore to create and build outfits that I myself would wear.
This is the first outfit that I built on the app.

Top - Alexander Wang
Skort - Topshop
Boots - Jeffery Campbell
Clutch - Bernard Delettrez (sold at www.forzieri.com)
Ring - Tory Burch (sold at www.theoutnet.com)

Holographic Sandals

As I said in the last post, here is a picture of how I wore my new holographic sandals for the first time. The picture isn't very good quality, but you get the idea.
This was a super rushed outfit, so it is likely that sometime in the near future I will style these shoes properly!

Crop Top - Old H&M mens top (that I cut)
Skirt - Topshop
Shoes - Topshop
Clutch - H&M

(None of the items are online, so I am unable to link them.)

Boxing Day Sales

I have this thing where every boxing day I MUST go and look around the sales. So this year sticking to tradition I did just that. If I'm totally honest I was far from impressed with the sales; weather that is because I was looking around shops in my home town of Peterborough or not I'm not too sure, however I have this terrible habit of not being able to leave somewhere without buying at least one thing, so I was more than definitely going to buy something.
I was just about to give up on shopping & just wait until I came back to London to browse the sales until I found the most perfect shoes! It took me a few minutes to decide weather I should buy them or not, just for the simple fact that they were £40 in the sale, but when I realised that there were originally £72 I couldn't say no, plus they were the last pair and they were my size, so I'm pretty sure it was fate.
When I took the shoes to the till to pay for them, the lady scanned them and told me they had gone down to £20, I tried to play it really cool but inside I was literally hi-fiving myself. To top it off, I was given a £20 Topshop voucher for christmas, so I used that to pay for the shoes, so I pretty much got them free!!
A pretty awesome boxing day purchase!

I actually wore the shoes out a few nights after, I will post a picture of how I wore them soon!

First Post

As of last year I told myself that I needed to buck up my ideas and start a blog, so here it is, I have finally got round to starting up a blog. Im going to run it as a style/lifestyle blog and post weekly. You are likely to see my day to day outfits and possibly a number of wish lists and little adventures and cool places have visited.
With every outfit post I will try and link every item, those that I cannot link I will state where I got it from and how much I paid for it. Im sure I will write a little review about some items and how I plan on wearing things as part of different outfits and such.

Hopefully my blog will interest people, I'm all for suggestions, so feel free to critisise weather it be positive or negative!
