£60 Challenge

Recently I have seen so many things that I want to buy, but it always seems like it will cost so much! So on saturday I was wondering around central London and decided to see how many items I could get using just the money I had in my purse at the time.
Now, it is not like me to ever have money in my purse as I am a bit of a debit card obsessive, however on this day I had £60 in cash.

The first thing I picked up was the clear vinyl shopper which I have been prying on for a while. I got this from Topshop for £20.

Im a massive fan of socks, so I'm always looking out for more & I have been meaning to get some for a while, so I thought whilst I was in Topshop I would grab a couple of pairs.
The first pair I grabbed were the White 90's Block Grid Socks, which were in the sale for only £2! The second pair I bought were the Gold Slinky Ankle Socks which were still full price but still at a reasonable price of £3.50.

After spending too much time drooling over the endless amounts of socks in Topshop, I wondered over to Urban Outfitters as I have been meaning to buy myself a little lace triangle bra. I got myself the Honeydew lace bralette in black & was surprised at how flattering it was. With my staff discount I only paid £9.60 for it, however the RRP is very reasonable at £16.

The last thing I bought was the metallic silver clutch bag, something I have been lusting over for so long. By this time I was getting tired of dodging all the slow London pedestrians but decided before I got the tube home to have a look in a shop called & Other Stories. I'd been in there before but never properly looked around & I was pleasantly surprised by the clothing they stocked, they had some really lovely stuff in there & the prices were really good too! However the one thing that caught my eye most was the silver clutch bag, I paid £17 for it, which I think is super good, considering the size.
(This item is no longer on the website)

I actually had a lot of fun trying to shop on a budget & buying as many items as I could.
Out of the £60 I had to spend I only spent a total of £52.10 which left me with enough change for a coffee!!
